Sanaa is a team member of Asian Horizons Unit, working on emerging trends in
the South Asian and Southeast Asian regions. Her area of focus within Asian
Horizons is Bangladesh and she has earlier worked on India. Prior to this,
she was a researcher for "The Himalayan Solutions: Cooperation and Security
in River Basins" report.
Her articles on developments in the Middle East and Africa have been
featured in Turkish Weekly and Indian Review of Global Affairs, amongst
others.
Sanaa has worked with the SFG management in the President's Office. Her role
included institutional development, strategic planning, media outreach and
communications as well as research and analysis for special projects. She is
also the Webmaster of the SFG website.
Prior to joining SFG, Sanaa worked as an Associate Consultant with KPMG
(Advisory Services). She was part of advisory engagements for various
corporate clients including public listed companies, international
infrastructure developers, a large private equity fund and SMEs.
She obtained her Master of Commerce degree from University of Mumbai. She is
also a Certified Internal Auditor.
